REPORT #57: GOODBYE JANUARY
Why does this feel like the longest month ever?
Hi everyone <3
It feels incredibly heavy to exist in the world right now. Between the news of ICE raids in Minnesota and innocent people getting murdered at the hands of our government, there’s this underlying sense of fear that is getting harder to ignore. My heart is completely broken for the families and children who are living in terror of their parents being abducted. This country is built by immigrants, and no one should fear getting detained because they weren’t born on this soil—especially the hardworking immigrants who have dreams and goals just like ours.
This hits especially close to home for me because my mom grew up under a dictatorship in Argentina—a time when people were “disappeared” by the government and never seen again. To see echoes of that kind of state-sponsored fear happening here, in 2026, is genuinely so fucking scary. It’s a reminder of how fragile our safety can be, and I’m sending so much love to anyone feeling that weight right now.
The good thing is, we can actually do something about it. We can make our voices loud enough that they can’t be ignored. Please take five minutes today to call your representatives and demand an end to these raids and the protection of our immigrant communities.
Find your Rep: house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative
Find your Senator: senate.gov/senators/contact
What to say: “I am a constituent calling to demand an immediate end to the ICE raids in Minnesota and across the country. I urge you to support policies that protect immigrant families and hold government agencies accountable for the safety of all residents.”
Sending everyone a big hug during this turbulent fucking time. Hopefully my Report can bring some levity to your day <3
READING: Our favorite financial icon, Vivian Tu (aka @YourRichBFF), just dropped her second book, Well Endowed, and she continues to prove why she is the absolute GOAT of the money game. I got my hands on an advanced copy, and let me tell you, if you want to stop just looking rich and start actually being wealthy, this is your new manifesto. This isn’t your boring, dusty CPA’s guide to saving pennies. Vivian doies a great job of explaining financial literacy without it being fucking boring. Buy it, read it, and then go get that coin.
EATING: For Felix’s birthday dinner, I spent months trying to get a reservation at The Eighty Six, which is officially the hardest Resy to snag in NYC right now (thanks Taylor Swift). It’s the same team behind The Corner Store, but the real reason I’m obsessed is my bestie Sarvi, who was so integral to this opening. She works directly for the head of CATCH group and it’s been wonderful to see her absolutely crush her new job and launch such a sick spot. I’m so fucking proud of her for chasing her dreams!!
The restaurant itself is super tiny, so it feels incredibly luxe and intimate once you’re inside. If you go, order a fluffy margarita, creamed corn pot pie, the 86 cheese stake, potato croquettes with caviar, the Waldorf salad, the lobster spaghetti, and at least two desserts. And don’t wear jeans because you will leave fucking stuffed.

PROUD OF: I’m officially in the editing phase of my debut book, Let’s F*cking Date, and honestly, I’m low-key depressed that this process is almost over. As I move into the final stages of the book, I’ve realized it’s become my sanctuary. In a world where social media feels like a constant everyday grind where you’re getting feedback in real-time to the point of exhaustion and dopamine addiction. Don’t get me wrong, I love creating, but this process has reiterated how much I love to write and want to make it my full-time career. We’ll see :)
I saw this image on Substack recently that resonated with me so much—when people ask about my writing process, it really comes down to just getting shit on a page. It’s not about how well you write; it’s about how well you rewrite. The hardest part is getting that first draft down, but the tweaking and editing is the fun part. So if you’re scared to start a project (whether it’s starting your own Substack, writing a book, or a movie) just START.
OBSESSED:
My secret to half the dry time and zero frizz is this hair towel.
The newest (and most effective) addition to my morning ritual.
If you’re not using an oil-based body wash, yet, start with this one. Your skin will thank me.
My $50-class hack for when I want a killer workout in under 30 minutes. (get an annual membership discounted with the code: JOIN)
My favorite non-work out legging.
This brush is an investment, yes, but if it saves me three professional blowouts, it’s already paid for itself.
This hand wash is basically a piece of decor that happens to smell like a five-star hotel.
If you need a chic gift that won’t just sit in a closet, this is it.
I’m obsessed with this chunky wood statement mirror for our entry way.
Guess what? I finally found the perfect white tee. You’re welcome.
Hats are out, head scarves are in. They keep you warm but don’t fuck up your hair. Trust.
Never have I ever gotten more DMs about a top.
STREAMING:
If you aren’t watching the new season of Traitors, what the fuck are you even doing? It is high-stakes, campy, psychological warfare at its finest. Watching people I recognize from other reality shows absolutely lose their minds trying to sniff out a lie is my current favorite form of escapism. Team Rob, Candice and Lisa Fucking Rinna <3
Industry is basically Succession and Euphoria on coke. I love how much the show has evolved since season one. The acting is incredible, and even though I have no idea what’s happening 70% of the time, I’m counting down the minutes until Sunday nights. There’s just nothing else like it on television IMO.
I cannot wait for the America’s Next Top Model documentary to drop in February. basically grew up on this show, and looking back, it was actually unhinged. I need to see how they even begin to reflect on it today because the whole thing was toxic af. From the traumatic “makeovers” to the most questionable photoshoots in history, we’re finally getting the answers we deserve.
If you made it this far, I love you.
Here’s hoping February is less of a freezing mindfuck than January. Love you all <3
