DING: I almost fell off my chair reading this article: NYT – “Right-Wing Masculinity Is Having a Moment”. Jonathan Keeperman—here’s his Wikipedia if you want to ruin your day—basically says that letting women into spaces like the military, academia, and corporate leadership has weakened them. And he says it with zero shame. He’s articulate, sure, but don’t get it twisted…that’s how patriarchy disguises itself. Polished. Reasonable. Dangerous.
This is why we can’t look away. For every inch of progress women make, men like him are ready to pull us ten steps back. Just look at what’s happening: abortion rights being stripped (did you know Planned Parenthood’s only Manhattan location is closing?), the word woman disappearing from official reports, trans women being targeted and dehumanized. The fight isn’t just happening in headlines: it’s happening in boardrooms, classrooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms. So stay awake. Stay loud. Protect each other. And yes, that includes the good men who are in this with us.
ICYMI: I’m donating proceeds from my Older, Hotter, Wiser premiere event to Planned Parenthood. Even if you can’t make it, I highly encourage you to set up a monthly donation, even if it’s just $5 a month (I know you can sacrifice the price of a coffee.)
EATING: I have no time to eat anymore and it’s not because I’m on Mounjaro. Like I actually have no time. But I still want real food that’s fresh, delicious, and doesn’t require me to turn into a Top Chef contestant. I found LaRoot World and I’m obsessed.
If you’re looking for meals that taste homemade, come beautifully packaged, and take zero effort to make, this is it.
PROUD OF: The trailer for Older, Hotter, Wiser is finally out in the world. I’ve been working on this show for years, pouring my heart into every scene, every line, every moment. And now you get to see it come to life. This project started as a wild idea and turned into something real because of you—my community.
So I’m throwing a premiere. And you’re invited.
Join me at Fouquet’s New York for a night that’s sexy, chic, and unforgettable. The dress code is Old Hollywood, so come dressed like the star you are. There will be glam touch-ups, cocktails, photo moments, and the sickest gift bags ever. Like, truly ever.
🎟 Buy your ticket here (proceeds go to Planned Parenthood, duh.)
This is for all of us. I can’t wait to celebrate together.
OBSESSED:
I got this for Pancho and it’s giving rich.
This is the best smelling hand soap I've ever used. No cap.
I don’t even know how to cook, but Meredith’s mouthwatering cookbook makes me want to try??
I fear this may be the best liquid eyeliner on the market.
The only tattoo I’ll put on my body.
I’ve worn this tank top 5 times this week.
These are extremely chic, comfy and elevate every outfit.
My favorite kind of bag = No logo or hardware. How we’ve evolved!
STREAMING: The Eternaut on Netflix. This six episode sci-fi series, based on a legendary Argentinian graphic novel, delivers dystopia in the streets of Buenos Aires. It opens with a mysterious snowfall that kills people on contact, freezing them where they stand. Haunting, surreal, and deeply local.
As many of you know, my mom is from Argentina and I spent all my childhood winters and summers trying to be as porteña as my cousins. That meant drinking mate, speaking with an Argentinian accent, and obsessing over every local show, movie, and band they loved. Ricardo Darín was always at the center of it. I had a huge crush on him, even though he was older than my dad. (Or maybe I just liked that he was the only celebrity I recognized and seeing his name made me feel like I belonged.)
Watching him lead this series as the city collapses around him felt deeply familiar. The opening scene was shot four blocks from my tía Diana’s house.
The word Eternaut means eternal traveler. Someone who moves through time to survive adversity and spread solidarity. If you are into post-apocalyptic stories with a touch of magical realism, watch it.
